Turning prayer into questions. LabShul in NY commissioned me to create a series of 30 short animations that take liturgical texts and transform them into searching open questions for spiritual contemplation and reflection. This was for their High Holy programme, that marks Jewish New Year and Day of Atonement. In 2020, during the global pandemic when in person gathering was replaced by online digital experiences, the challenge was to take the tradition and open it up to speak to our new realities.
