Inked Etchings

Square metal plates, each 8 x 8 cm, left to etch in the acid for a week.

In preparation,
the plates were deliberately not degreased, resulting in the stop-out lifting, fragmenting and creating accidental marks. The acid broke into the ‘perfect’ square and disrupt the form.
