Book of Black Fire//White Fire

In the Talmud, writing is described as a combination of white and black fire. The space having as much energy and potency as the letters. This creates a tension between presence and absence, speech and silence. This artbook’s covers are formed from empty spaces of my hands. Inside the interplay between black and white fire develops, and the potential within the line is released and revealed.
